Located in the clubhouse, the Desert Springs Golf Boutique offers an extensive range of sports and leisure wear for both the golfer and non-golfer. The “ Desert Springs Lifestyle & Leisure” collection for Ladies and Gentlemen offers a range of clothing produced exclusively for Desert Springs.  all carry the distinctive Desert Springs logo. 

Complementing this collection are ranges of clothing from one of the most recognised manufacturers in the world, renowned for its uncompromising standards of fashion and quality; Ralph Lauren Polo for men and for women. This exclusive brands offer a full range of clothing made using the finest quality materials which is reflected in the choice of some of the best golfers in the world to wear Ralph Lauren, Davis Love III and Luke Donald included.

For those looking to buy a gift for a golfing partner,  there is a range of premium leather goods including belts, scorecard holders and wallets from Mulberry, a selection of cut glass crystal from the world renowned Edinburgh Crystal and elegant modern silver and polished pewter gifts from Gloucestershire craftsman, David Hayward.

The Academy Professional’s Shop

The Golf Academy at the Desert Springs Resort boasts some of the best practice facilities in the world.   Ideally located overlooking these fantastic facilities, the Academy Pro Shop offers everything needed by the golfer, both before and after their round.

As the base of our team of PGA Golf Professionals, expert advice is always on-hand to help with your golfing queries, whether it is simply making the correct selection of golf ball for your round, or deciding the specification of a new set of customised Taylor Made irons.  Taking a lesson with one of our PGA Golf Professionals?  The relaxed atmosphere of the Academy Pro Shop provides the perfect setting to meet the Pro before your lesson and dispel any nerves over refreshments and snacks.

Also available at the golf boutique are all the accessories the golfer will need for his or her round, from simple tee pegs to logo pitch mark repairers, Foot Joy golf gloves and Titleist golf balls, the 'No.1 Ball in Golf'.

The Almanzora Lifestyle Range

The "Almanzora Lifestyle and Leisure" range of clothing is displayed in the Academy Professional’s Shop, located in the Marquee. This collection, for men, women and children includes everything from T-shirts and polo shirts to sweaters and fleeces, from swimming shorts to bathrobes and even dress shirts. This varied apparel has been chosen to suit the lifestyle offered by the Almanzora and on the whole is a more casual and relaxed range, carrying the distinctive Almanzora logo.

The range has been selected for a combination of the best use of quality materials and value for money. The same applies to the well-known good value Ashworth brand of logo’d golf clothing, which is also offered in the Academy professional’s Shop.

To complement this collection, there is the Adidas line of Sports Sunglasses, with specific designs for golfing, running and cycling. In the true desert climate of the Almanzora, which offers 320 plus days of sunshine each year, these are an exceedingly good idea!

The Almanzora Collection

This is an extremely illogical and eclectic collection of large and small goodies for the home and person.  These will be on display in the Marquee Information and Sales Centre and around the Resort and Show Homes.  The Almanzora Collection is made up of unique, unusual or special items that we have come across and which we think might appeal to property owners and visitors to our resorts. 

The collection will grow with time, but at present it includes, or at least is planned to include once we can get it together:-

The Marquee Micro-stores

The Marquee Micro Stores provides all the necessaries, located right on the Resort in the Marquee Information and Sales Centre.  Open every day from no later than 10 am and closing no earlier than 4.30pm depending on the season, it normally stocks a “micro” selection of items such as :-

• Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, Charcuterie and Cheeses
• Tinned Soups and Foods, Pizzas, Condiments and Sauces

The Croc Pool and Beach Shop

This tiny shop is located behind El Chiringuito at the Croc Club.  It is open seasonally, whenever the pool bar is in use. It offers a selection of unique jewellery, including sophisticated handmade silver from Little Goldie through to fun beach necklaces, unique “Kikoy” sarongs, shirts and accessories from Maji Maji of Kenya, handmade leather sandals, baseball caps, t-shirts, and other beachware, children/s toys, sun glasses and sun screen and of course Ice cream and Ice Lollies.

Local Markets

There are centuries old traditional markets every day of the week somewhere in the region and beyond. They range from the huge Saturday market of Vera that spreads further and further through the town to the charming extremely friendly Sunday market of Villaricos.
