Star Gazing Night at the Croc Club - August

A natural phenomenon, "La Lluvia de Estrellas", The Rainfall of Stars, occurs the week during the full moon of August. We gather at the Croc Club, equipped with telescopes, to see the thousands of shooting stars cross the night sky...weather permitting! Our Executive Chef always serves up his Astronomic Gastronomic Menu and Moon Music accompanies this outergalactic event. Spanish Lessons AL FRESCO @ Desert Springs

These are available by appointment and take place in the Residencia Show Home, in the Private Reserve, opposite the Clubhouse deck, at Desert Springs. They are very light and informal and are a good opportunity to meet others. Kristina aims to get you started in a number of day to day situations - you only have to book 24 hours in advance.

Painting & Sketching Classes @ Desert Springs

Have a “Van Gogh” at painting and sketching! Our Art Classes for both Adults & Children with Melanie run all year round, you only need to book with Kristina 24 hours in advance. Just “Picasso” a theme and “Turner” your day round! Lunch is included and this activity is a great way to spend a few creative hours with the kids.

The Hollywood Movie Package @ Desert Springs

Available all year round, a great rainy day activity or something different for a night out for the family! Rent out the Screening Room at its normal price of 30 €uros (covers 2 persons) at The Private Reserve and we'll supply a Romantic Comedy, Adventure Film, Kiddies Flick - there are plenty of titles to chose from- and we'll make sure you are supplied with the all important popcorn of your choice (buttered, salty or sweet).

Bike Tours @ Desert Springs

Available five days a week, take a bike tour with Jim around Desert Springs! Tours should be booked through Kristina (+ 34 618 609 978), 24 hours in advance, and last between half an hour (for the younger cyclists!) and two hours (although you may find your tour guide has not made it through the whole tour!). A tour costs only 10 Euros per person and includes bike hire - Families of four will be charged a discounted 30 Euros in total.

Mediterranean Cooking Classes @ Desert Springs

Desert Springs' own Executive Chef, Steve “El Pegg”, holds Mediterranean Cooking Classes at The Crocodile Club by appointment. It really is essential to book in advance, and different times are available to suit you (and our busy Chef). Below appears a testimonial from one of our Residents, who received a Cooking Class as a birthday gift for her and her friends. After the ladies had learnt to make a wonderful Lobster Risotto, they and their guests ate their creation!

 

Get to Know Your Spanish Wines @ Desert Springs

Miguel Angel, wine expert and provider of the fine wines found at Desert Springs, would be delighted to host an hour long wine tasting session at our Wine & Tapas Bodega. A great opportunity to Get To Know Your Spanish Wines and to purchase excellent reds, whites and roses after the session. Get To Know Your Spanish Wines is available only by appointment, therefore please do contact Kristina (+ 34 618 609 978), who can organise the session for you and your party.

Nature Walks with Joel

Starting from our Club House, Joel Lode, cactus and nature expert, will guide you on a walking tour around the Resort, explaining the incredible variety of national and exotic cactus life at Desert Springs. This Activity is available all year round and pre booking with Kristina (+34 618 609 978) is essential. The tour lasts approx 2 hours and costs 20 Euros per adult (minimum 2 adults) and is free for children under 13 years.
